SF-224 „Pepa“ is a modular piece of seating furniture that was designed with the aim of enabling fast and cost-effective production while offering versatile solutions for a wide variety of room situations. Whether as a stool, bench or high table, „PEPA“ can be assembled in numerous variations.
The body of the basic stool consists of two precisely laser-cut pieces of double corrugated cardboard. Sophisticated processing steps allow the corrugated cardboard to be bent, joined and formed into a cone, which forms the base structure of „PEPA“.
Depending on the desired shape, the respective pine wood seat is placed in the recesses provided on the cone and the base piece is inserted. An elastic band is threaded through the holes in the seat, guided through the cardboard body and attached at the ends to the cut-outs in the base plate. The tension of the strap ensures a stable connection of all components and a longer strap opens up additional options such as a high table.
The versatile modularity of „PEPA“ opens up countless design options for individual room concepts and creates a flexible, adaptable seating landscape for modern catering, living and working areas.

SF-224 „Pepa“ ist ein modulares Sitzmöbelstück, das mit dem Ziel entworfen wurde, eine schnelle und kostengünstige Produktion zu ermöglichen und gleichzeitig vielseitige Lösungen für unterschiedlichste Raumsituationen zu bieten. Ob als Hocker, Bank, Stehtisch– „PEPA“ kann in zahlreichen Variationen zusammengesetzt werden.
Der Körper des Basis-Hockers besteht aus zwei präzise gelaserten Stücken doppelter Wellpappe. Durch raffinierte Verarbeitungsschritte kann die Wellpappe gebogen, verbunden und zu einem Kegel geformt werden, der die Grundstruktur von „PEPA“ bildet.
Je nach gewünschter Form, wird die jeweilige Sitzfläche aus Kiefernholz in den vorgesehenen Ausfräsungen auf dem Kegel platziert und das Bodenstück eingesetzt. Ein elastisches Band wird durch die Löcher der Sitzfläche gefädelt, den Pappkörper geführt und mit den Enden an den Ausfräsungen der Bodenplatte befestigt. Die Spannung des Bands gewährleistet eine stabile Verbindung aller Komponenten und mit einem längeren Band eröffnen sich zusätzliche Optionen wie z.B. ein Stehtisch.
Die vielseitige Modularität von „PEPA“ eröffnet unzählige Gestaltungsmöglichkeiten für individuelle Raumkonzepte und schafft eine flexible, anpassungsfähige Sitzlandschaft für moderne Gastro, Wohn- und Arbeitsbereiche.
