Washing with ionized air
The story of the washing machine as we know it today starts in 1846 in the USA with the invention of a machine. In the course of time this machine developed into a white box which turned out to be one of the most helpful design for people‘s lives. Now the question is how washing will look like in the future. Lives will become more individual people will most likely not have big homes to live in anymore.
A lot of people like throwing their clothes on the floor or into a corner. I tried developing a new washing machine that could be the actual reason for throwing clothes into the closet or piles on the floor.
The concept is based on the technology of ionized air. Instead of running water through the textiles the ionized air will take the dirt out of the textile. No permanent container is needed. Instead the laundry can be washed right in the closet. Sab is a little objekt, similar to a soap bar that you put between your laundry. There it fulfills the task of cleaning the clothes by itself.
