Bow Assembly

A distinct part of gendering bodies are clothes and attributes connected to self-expression
together with political and social categorisation of bodies. Some attributes are strongly associated with the degradation of women and femininity as a result of the binary hierarchy of masculinity and femininity in our society.
With my collection I seek to disturb these structures. I aim to reverse the value of feminine attributes and by my work I hope to contribute to the rising web of new femininity. A space where femininity can be vulgar, sensual and camp without being valued in relation to the patriarchy.
