Sticking birds
Which birds do you know by name? And which ones would you recognize if you saw them? There are about 150 species of breeding birds in Berlin. Most people recognize a sparrow, a blackbird or a tit. But what about the other exciting bird species?
Seven different domestic birds were selected, drawn and placed on a postcard as stickers. Like that the STICKING BIRDS can be sent easily. They first inform the recipient and should then be placed in the city. Berlin has a very lively sticker culture, but many stickers are advertising or calls for protest. The STICKING BIRDS are designed to stop pedestrians to inform them about birds that live here by visualizing one interesting characteristic per bird. This should attract attention and encourage people to look for real birds.
