Reports of artificial intelligence’s intelligence are vast and wide with each model released promising to be more efficient, more powerful, more real, more imaginative than we can imagine! Yet the reality of its low-res output suggests that AI is more like us than we think-clumsy and a little less perfect than we’d like to admit. This workshop explores AI or ANN (Artificial Neural Networks) as a toolbox for dreaming and highly processed approximating. Partly an introduction to computer graphics and partly a class on imagining-AI acts as a machine for sampling fuzzy ideas in 2D, 2.5D, and 3D.
