GRADUAL TRANSPARENCY
“Gradual Transparency” is a story about playing with the thickness of the material and with light. A set of designed window sill accessories made of bioplastic is a little pleasure showing how light and its intensity change in our surroundings by the properties of the material. Initially, I was inspired by the properties of resin. However, during the development of the project, I decided to move in more sustainable direction and stated to experimenting with bioplastic. Small accessories surrounding us can give us joy and at the same time be fullY responsible and ecological solutions. I made the material corresponding to the topic of gradual transparency from agar, glicrin, water and food dyes in appropriate proportions.
