In the project Plastology Emily Lechaux developed ‚UFO‘ a designed for being durable, recyclable and repairable. The project is nominated for a VDID New Talents Award!
The VDID (Verband Deutscher Industrie Designer) DID supports young designers who solve relevant problems with well-thought-out, innovative ideas, questioning the status quo and seeking systemic answers. Projects that recognise complexity yet develop tangible solutions. They are not primarily concerned with technical perfection and aesthetics – what matters is the will to bring about positive change.
An expert jury, consisting of 10 VDID members with a wide range of expertise, has selected ten projects for the shortlist from over 120 submissions that are nominated for the VDID New Talents Award 2025. The winners will be announced and honoured at the award ceremony on 26 October.
