COMMONS (short project)

☯ About

The COMMONS Kurzprojekt invites participants into a playful and thoughtful exploration of creating shared experiences.
Over the course of a week, this hands-on format challenges designers to create objects and interactions that bring people together in unexpected ways.
Moving beyond conventional approaches that focus on individual use, students will experiment with processes and interactions to develop prototypes that require collaboration and critical reflection of individual roles. The design process becomes an opportunity to question familiar patterns and discover new possibilities for shared experience.
Through iterative prototyping, participants develop functional designs that inspire new ways of interacting with shared objects, spaces and resources.
The final showcases will present these prototypes as thoughtful interventions that invite users to challenge the preconceptions of of collective engagement, openining perspectives on how design can foster connection rather than separation.
