Design and Additive Manufacturing
D.A.M returns for a second round! this time expanding its focus on engineering applications and high-precision manufacturing techniques. we will get into the nitty gritty of tolerances, print to fit, incooperating different materials + parts, threading and post-processing methods. new modules will also introduce clay printing and reverse engineering. industry experts will provide live insights, and practical sessions will reinforce key learning out- comes. this course will provide you with helpful skills and knowledge to be implemented in your prototyping and manufacturing workflow.

given the varying complexity of different technologies and your busy schedules course timings may fluctuate. please refer to the schedule on the FabLab door for updates.

Objectives:
a) deepen your comprehensive understanding of contemporary 3D printing technologies and broadening your skillset by intruducing ceramic 3D printing and custom g-code generation using grashopper 3D

b) increase your skills to operate in-house 3D printers safely, while also expanding your expertise in additional post-processing methods such as using threading tools and welding machines.

c) acknowledging that participants may possess varying levels of prior knowledge and experience, the goal is to strike a balance between addressing fundamental concepts and providing advanced insights to accommodate diverse backgrounds.
