The draping course aims to support the student’s project through intensive hands-on exploration of three-dimensional idea development and solution-finding. After a short introductory task that teaches the fundamental and advanced skills of creative draping as a silhouette and pattern development method, various innovative approaches are introduced and explored. Creative draping methods adapted to the unique needs will be applied individually throughout the rest of the course to find the most appropriate and exciting solution for each design idea.
