IPP is partner in the 2nd edition of the RIMOWA Design Prize. The theme (in the broadest sence): MOBILITY
Students can submit concepts and proposals online to Rimowa between Dec. 1 and 15. Thisconceptualization and presentation phase is supported by the UdK design profs.
Proposals that refer to RIMOWA products and product categories (luggage, backpacks, etc.), or to RIMOWA’s visual identity and brand information (i.e. corrigaged aluminum, logo’s, etc.) will be disqualified. Students can apply as individuals, or as a group of two.
If selected for the semi- final round (Jan. 2024) you will be assigned a world-class mentor, responsible for coaching you, as well as for promoting your idea to the real world.
Planning competition 2023/24
Nov – Dec: design sessions with UdK design profs next to Semester projects
Jan – Febr: 21 projects selected for semi-finals by RIMOWA design team
March-Apr: 7 projects worked out with expert mentors + protyping budget
May: Prize ceremony in Berlin
