Vita
Olivia Heung is a designer and researcher based in Berlin and Honolulu. Her work considers how technologies for media generation borrowed from VFX and gaming engines affect perception, design, and visual culture at large.
Currently she is an Art Director for the design research studio Certain Measures and has worked at the transdisciplinary design agency 2×4 and various other practices in New York and Seattle prior. She received a Masters in Architecture from Harvard GSD and a Bachelors in Architectural Studies from the University of Washington and has taught at the Institute for Media Representation at Leibniz Universität Hannover, Harvard Graduate School of Design, and the University of Washington.
