Ian Ferguson is an American product designer and co-founder of the industrial design studio PostlerFerguson.
He studied architecture at the Massachusetts of Institute of Technology and product design at the Royal College of Art, and has lived and worked in Boston, Tokyo, Los Angeles and London.
Ian has taught architecture and product design internationally, at the Royal College of Art, London Metropolitan University, the Southern California Institute of Architecture and UCLA.
In his practice he works with clients to implement new technologies in a broad context that ranges from user concerns to manufacturability, with a focus on functional prototyping and storytelling.
