Unter dem Titel “mean girls” untersucht die Kollektion Wut, pikareske Figuren und girlhood in der
Popkultur. Dabei treffen traditionelle Handarbeitstechniken auf Digitaldruck. Bedeutsam für diese
Betrachtung, stattfindend im Rahmen einer Kollektion von 10 Looks für verschiedene Größen, ist die
schöpferische Anwendung von Zitationstechniken in Verknüpfung mit einer kritischen
Selbstpositionierung in Bezug auf das verwendete Material. Zentral ist eine Faszination für nicht-
lineare Erzählungen und etwas zwischen Archiv und Collage.

Titled „mean girls“, the collection explores anger, picaresque figures and girlhood in pop culture.
Traditional needlework techniques meet digital printing. Significant to this consideration, taking
place within a collection of 10 looks for different sizes, is the creative application of citation
techniques combined with a critical self-positioning in relation to the material used. Central to this is
a fascination with non-linear narratives and something between archive and collage.
