 The Boss used to wear a suit!

What is a suit saying about the Boss?

Boss is asking: what is the new suit?

If the Boss works from home do they wear a suit?

If the Boss doesn’t wear a suit, what are they wearing instead?

Would the Boss wear a digital suit?

Is a digital suit for the Boss less appreciated by a Boss?

How does a crafted suit for the Boss represent the Boss‘s status?

We will be visiting the headquarters of Hugo Boss in Metzingen
Itinerary:
– Departure Sunday 22nd October
– Return Tuesday 24th October late evening
– Train tickets and accommodation will be provided by Hugo Boss

Plans & arrangements:

• Introduction into the digital design and developmentprocesses of Hugo
• A selection of workshops at Hugo Boss HQ
• A selection of fabrics and tailoring supplies will be sponsored by Hugo Boss
• The focus of the project is tailoring and collection development
• Unisex tailoring is an option
• Outcome: A 10 outfit collection in sketches with two outfits realised
• Possibility of an exhibition of selected outfits(to be confirmed)
• Hugo Boss designers will consult with you on two occasions online and will visit the UdK for the half term and the final presentation at the end of the semester
• Jan Tepe PhD student at Boras The Swedish School of  Textile will give a two day workshop on the 30&31 of October
• A compulsory IIlustrator seminar (Projektschwerpunkt) with Carsten Behm will constitute 10% ofyour final mark
• Stephanie Penkov will provide regular optional support in draping
  from the start of December until the semester end
